Thank you so much for your elaborate answer! This really helps me a lot.
For me the main reason would also be to “check in” with my girlfriend or friends/family who stay at home.

Hi everybody,

I’m currently looking to buy an InReach Garmin device since I’m going more and more into the mountains (Austria, Switserland etc) and also on a 1- month trip to Costa Rica at the end of the year.

I was wondering if anybody has been using one of these devices (preferably in Europe) and I’m anxious to know what your experiences…

Hi Jannik,

I’ve used the Osprey Atmos AG 65 for like a year or so (I hike mostly multi- day hikes somewhere in Europe under different weather conditions) and had to return it because it was very squeeky and it already showed signs of wear and tear on the sides and top.

I´ve been using the NatureHike Cloud 2P for 1,5 year now and it´s been a sturdy lightweight tent in all kinds of weather (even used it for my winter hike). It’s only about 149 euro’s at the moment.
