Thank you for your elaborate response! I just bought my mini 2 too and I have to say I&#8217;m already very glad with it. I&#8217;m using it so far for exactly the reasons you just mentioned.<br />

For me the main reason would also be to &#8220;check in&#8221; with my girlfriend or friends/family who stay at home.<br />

I also plan on using the basic/cheapest plan, as long as I can use the SOS function if needed.<br />

<p>I&#8217;ve used the Osprey Atmos AG 65 for like a year or so (I hike mostly multi- day hikes somewhere in Europe under different weather conditions) and had to return it because it was very squeeky and it already showed signs of wear and tear on the sides and top.</p>

It&#8217;s only about 149 euro&#8217;s at the moment.</p>
