  Walking the FT, N-S or S-N?

  Hi all,
  I noticed on Facebook most people follow this route North-South. And this is also the direction given by the website

  Is there anything against going the other way?
  I hope to hike it this fall/winter and I think I’ll be hiking N-S as well, as I like to have the sun in my face. But was just wondering.
