Hi there, I have completed the Frances and Camino Norte. I am planning the Primitivo for next year, has anyone done it already? Can you tell me whether it is worthwhile taking a tent on this one or did you find hostels easy to find even if you don’t stick to the traditional guidebook length days?

Did you ever get a reply to your question? I’ve done the Primitivo 3 times and have never had a problem finding accommodation. I don’t think that you need a tent.

Hi Sally. I’ve done it and you don’t need a tent if you book the most remote hostals in advance, especially if you plan to do it durng high season. Some public hostal do not allow to book in advance, but the private ones do.
