Especially the Olympus has a huge thick sole. The Superiors might come the closest. What they do have in common with the barefoot shoes is the zero drop. The more expensive single-wall tents will also have condensation anyway, so that&#8217;s not a drawback. Just the colour though&#8230;looks like they only have them in white. They call it a tent tarp (MT 900) at 920 grs and 150 euros or so. Maybe an option?</p>

I second what Genevieve is saying, I used the Inreach mini (1) on the PCT, and it is very sturdy, I would definitely also recommend getting a device that allows two-way communication. The Duplex was great for the entire hike, apart from, indeed, high winds, which happened once at the base of the San Jacintos for me. Spent the entire night trying to get the stakes to stay in, and then finally gave up and held the poles upright by hand&hellip;</p>
