<p>We had loads of snow which did make some sections pretty dangerous but overall it&#8217;s a fairly easy hike with great huts along route. Great food and beers as always in the huts in Austria compared to other countries. You ascend some peaks and&hellip;</p>

<p>I am one of the ambassadors of Thruhiking and I hiked the Stubaier couple years ago!</p>
<p>First of all, this one is not for the weak. Our first day we skipped the first hut and that was our first mistake! It&#8217;s only 2 hours to this hut, but if you skip it, you will walk for 9 hours instead with probably as much as 1700m ascending and loads&hellip;</p>

<p>After having walked the camino about 10 years ago, through the Via Podiensis and the Camino Frances, I&#8217;ll go back this summer!</p>
<p>Leaving in about 2 weeks from now, we&#8217;ll combine walking the Pyrenees on the GR10, then the camino del norte. Should take about 3.5 months, can&#8217;t wait to be back on the camino!</p>
