Did one half of it, from Peje > Theth (clockwise) – loved it! Stayed in the guesthouses as fairly cheap and easy, went in late May and usually one guesthouse in each of the major(ish) towns was open to accommodate hikers.

Have heard great things about Lanshan 2 (non pro version oddly), seems affordable. I have the Vango 100 that is, barely big enough for me (6ft2in), but is compact and affordable.
